I had a short, seemingly positive two-level interview sequence after recruiter contact, but it stalled afterward.

Recruiter call — I provided required information through the CGI portal; the recruiter said they’d set up interviews if shortlisted.
L1 interview — the first completed step.
L2 interview — completed the following day with easy questions.
Post-interview follow-up — after L2, there was no further response. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway is that even when rounds go smoothly, follow-up timing can make or break the process.
