I experienced a simple, quick process that relied on basic questions, but in both cases I ended up rejected after a long wait.

Short technical check — I was asked very basic items like a single loop-style question and a basic SQL query.
Initial interview follow-up — In another similar path, the initial conversation went well and I was told I’d hear back in a week.
Long decision delay — Despite the expectations, the wait stretched to about a month and ended in rejection. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that the technical bar felt low, but timelines and decision communication were slow.
