I interviewed for Software Engineer at CGI and found the overall process average to difficult, with an online assessment style stage followed by tech-focused rounds.

Recruiter screening (structure stage) — I started with a recruiter screen.
Technical assessment — I faced technical topics like Java/Spring Boot/Kafka/test automation/SQL and also a coding question.
Technical round (follow-up) — Another technical conversation that continued to probe areas from my résumé. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was to prepare for topic-mapped technical rounds (and not just behavioral talk).
