I experienced a double interview that mixed technical and HR questions together.

It was run by an HR specialist and a department head from the team I’d be joining.

The technical questions felt to the point and were clearly meant to gauge what I actually knew and what I’d done before. The HR part was the typical set of interview questions, and I had to stay alert because they wanted the details to be consistent. Overall, it felt like a focused evaluation rather than a casual conversation, and it made the process feel quite serious.
