Canva Software Engineer interview experience

The test felt like the gatekeeper for the rest of the process, and I didn’t pass it, so I never made it to the later rounds. I only got a rejection letter about a month later, which made the whole thing feel a bit disconnected since I couldn’t tell how the broader interview journey would have looked.

What stuck with me most was how early it ended once the assessment was failed. There wasn’t much feedback beyond the fact that I wasn’t moving forward, and that uncertainty made the waiting period longer than it needed to be.
