I ended up taking Canva’s online assessment, and it was definitely challenging.

The biggest thing it tested was how quickly I could think and still stay sharp under time pressure.

One of the problems centered on binary search, and it really came down to handling edge cases correctly and understanding algorithmic efficiency. I spent time reviewing Java specifically for the OA so I could submit work I felt confident in. What stood out was how much the test demanded careful reasoning, not just getting to an answer fast—overall it felt like a serious filter even before the live stages.
