I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with a strong emphasis on .NET and SQL Server concepts, covering web, persistence, and database performance topics.

Technical interview — I was asked about security concepts in ASP.NET along with specific topics like views, delegates/functions, and file upload controls.
Database / backend focus — They also covered stored procedures in SQL Server, LINQ queries, Entity Framework, and SQL Server state management techniques. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that breadth across .NET security/web features and SQL Server fundamentals was expected.
