San Jose, CAPosted Jun 2012 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineer with a structured multi-round onsite where the questions leaned heavily toward system thinking rather than coding.

Telephonic screen — essentially a resume screening conversation.
Onsite: technical 1:1 — a total of five interviews onsite: the first four with team members and the last with a manager.
Onsite deep dive — I was asked about my current master’s project and prior experience, then moved into design/architecture/logic-style technical questions; there was no whiteboard coding.

Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but the day felt organized around technical discussion and design trade-offs.
