IndiaPosted May 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went quite far for a Solutions Engineer role, including an extensive team process, but ultimately lost the offer due to compensation/location policy.

Recruiter contact — I was contacted via LinkedIn.
Multiple team interviews — A long run of interviews (about eight) where I met nearly the whole team and got strong impressions of culture.
Offer stage — An offer was eventually issued, but it came in about €15,000 below what I had agreed to.
Leadership reversal — Leadership later decided Ireland was too expensive versus other European locations and withdrew the offer, closing the Ireland position.
Outcome: No offer; the technical/cultural match seemed positive, but compensation and location constraints ended it.
