I had a structured Java-leaning interview path with increasing specificity from phones to onsite, ending with an HR conversation.

Phone discussion (manager, non-technical) — a non-technical conversation.
Phone technical interview — easy basic Java questions including threading, web services, Spring, and JMS; plus design.
Phone architect interview (USA) — similar basic Java topics and design.
Onsite panel — a technical panel focused on the same general Java/threading/web-service/Spring/JMS areas.
Phone HR discussion — final HR chat. Outcome: No offer; the overall difficulty was described as easy, but I didn’t progress to a positive decision.
