Los Angeles, CAPosted Mar 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through an AE hiring flow that began well with engaged conversations, but the close was unclear and left me without helpful feedback.

Recruiter screen — I found the recruiter communication strong and received clarity on next steps.
Hiring manager discussion — the hiring manager was engaged and we set expectations for what came next.
Additional rounds — I continued through interviews designed to evaluate my sales approach.
Final outcome communication — I received a generic “thanks but no thanks” note without specific reasons. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that initial engagement didn’t translate into actionable closure.
