San Francisco, CAPosted Dec 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for BetterUp’s account executive role with a case-study-driven discovery and closing exercise across multiple leader rounds.

Early rounds with front line leaders — I completed a series of interviews with frontline leaders.
Senior leader/executive interview — I also met with an executive or senior-level interviewer.
Case study: discovery to close — I used a case study account to practice discovery and closing in a normal customer cycle. Outcome: No offer—my takeaway was that they evaluated my ability to run a realistic sales motion, but I didn’t advance beyond the leader stage.
