Cincinnati, OHPosted Apr 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer position via recruiter outreach after a career fair; the process was professional but ultimately didn’t lead to an offer.

Recruiter outreach (email after career fair) — Recruiters contacted me and communicated professionally.
In-person one-on-one interview (with engineers/managers) — I met with three engineers/managers, with most questions anchored to my resume, plus they spent time describing the position. Outcome: I didn’t hear back after the interviews; takeaway: ask for the job description and dig into the work details to guide your conversation.
