East Windsor, NJPosted Mar 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through Beaconfire’s Software Engineer process, and while the interviews were straightforward, the end experience ranged from smooth-but-declined to unprofessional/no-feedback.

Initial phone screen + technical — I was contacted first by phone and then moved into a technical portion.
Interview with technical team / hiring manager — a follow-up technical/video conversation with the hiring manager.
Behavioral follow-up — for one path, the flow included behavioral elements, but details were limited. Outcome: In one case I declined the offer due to uncertainty about it consulting work; in the other, I experienced a lack of feedback and long-term ghosting after interviewing.
