Mountain View, CAPosted May 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started with a recruiter call, then had a technical discussion with the hiring manager where there wasn’t any coding at all—just a deep dive into my experience and how it fit.

After that, I moved into a DSA-style technical round with one coding problem that didn’t feel especially hard.

Once I got to the virtual onsite, it was four rounds and the mix was pretty clear: a behavioral interview with the hiring manager, a technical interview where we discussed snippets of Python code, a systems design round, and a final Leetcode-style problem in JavaScript. What surprised me a little was how much they framed the coding rounds as a conversation. They emphasized that working through the code and communicating clearly mattered more than producing a flawless solution.
