Mountain View, CAPosted Aug 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview started with a behavioral phone screen, then moved to a behavioral conversation with a tech lead, and finally a coding interview.

Everyone I spoke with was genuinely nice and seemed passionate about the project, and the vibe felt supportive rather than combative.

I was able to pass the coding interview, which made me feel optimistic going into the later stages. But even with that success, they ended up going with a different candidate.

No offer came out of it, but I still appreciated the human tone of the process. The hardest part emotionally was getting that last update after the coding went well—when it felt like the most decisive part had already been handled.
