Aurora Innovation Software Engineer interview experience

When I mentioned I would need visa sponsorship, the response was that they’d need to double-check.

A few days later I received the update that they weren’t able to sponsor, and that was the end of the process. It was a short, abrupt journey—less about interview performance and more about eligibility.

I didn’t get an offer, and the main reflection I had was how quickly certain constraints can close the door even when the early conversations are straightforward and the next steps are already in motion.
