Palo Alto, CAPosted Jun 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had phone screens with both a venture capital group and in-house recruiters.

Then I moved to a remote coding interview using CoderPad, where I discussed the algorithm as I worked and also had questions that probed culture fit. Alongside that, the in-house recruiter portion was relatively limited—about four hours total—and there was also a teleconference.

The coding portion had more dialogue than I expected, since I had to talk through the approach, not just produce an answer. Overall it felt like a mixed format process—evaluation of both technical reasoning and how I’d fit alongside the team.
