A recruiter reached out to me and passed my resume along to the team.

After a few days, I checked back in, and the reply was essentially that the team was going with other candidates. I never got pulled into any additional rounds after that, and it ended earlier than I expected.

The disappointment wasn’t just the rejection—it was how quickly it moved from active interest to a shut door once it reached the team. I didn’t receive an offer, and I was left with the feeling that my fit might not have been fully vetted at the time the process started.
