My process felt quick and fairly normal.

After the recruiter screen, I went through a technical interview where the focus was basically on being a strong coder and having solid interpersonal instincts—there weren’t any obvious traps or surprises.

What stood out most was how the negotiation phase went. At that stage, the recruiter said unprofessional things, including challenging why I would negotiate when my range was supposedly lower than what they planned to offer. It threw me off, and at the time I also didn’t feel much connection with the people I spoke with. Even so, they ended up increasing the offer to what I requested.
