San Francisco, CAPosted Jan 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with a coding round followed by a system design round, and then security became part of the picture too.

After that, I went into a longer, two-hour coding session built around OOP.

That coding block was less about solving a single algorithm and more about writing classes and methods and then explaining my logic and the time complexity. I had to verbalize how I was thinking as I went, not just produce code.

The final step was a hiring manager round with deeper discussion around specific projects from my background. By the end, I had covered a wide range—from design to security to OOP implementation—so the evaluation felt comprehensive, even though I didn’t end up with an offer.
