Asana Software Engineer interview experience

After I submitted my work, the next step was a discussion of the results of my code.

Depending on how the conversation went, it could shift into debugging further or into discussing my design choices. That back-and-forth was more about reasoning than simply producing an answer.

I didn’t get an offer, but I appreciated the format because it gave me a chance to talk through my thinking and show how I approached decisions in the code.
