My journey started with a typical recruiter/phone screen flow, but the process quickly felt inconsistent.

In the first call, the screen was camera-off, and the coding portion leaned toward a medium LeetCode-style problem. After that, I went into virtual onsite interviews that ended up lasting a long stretch—about seven hours—which already made the day feel more tiring than it needed to be.

What stood out was how confusing the onsite felt in terms of structure. They described separate design and systems-design rounds, but the actual rounds didn’t match the general descriptions I was given. Interviewers seemed newer to interviewing, and I’d ask clarifying questions about edge cases or requirements
