My first step included a self-introduction, and the whole setup was bilingual, with a mix of Chinese and English.

After I introduced myself, they asked about my previous internships and work experience, then about my future plans.

There was also a written test involved for the person accompanying me, which added another layer to the day’s structure. Overall, it felt difficult because of the language switching and the breadth of what they wanted to hear, and I didn’t end up receiving an offer after reaching that stage.
