I went into a fairly deep technical online interview with two assessors for about 30 minutes.

After a quick introduction, they asked technical questions tied to my experience in design and safety.

The questioning drilled down into specific design parameters and also into implementation details—especially how field testing played into safety policies on site. It felt like they weren’t satisfied with surface-level answers, and the depth was the main reason it felt difficult.

By the end, I had a clear sense they were evaluating how precisely I could think through real-world safety and execution, not just whether I’d heard the right terms before.
