For this interview, they flew me from my hometown to Decatur and handled the logistics—hotel, meals, and travel—over a two-day, one-night trip.

That included dinner with higher-level employees the first evening. The next morning started with an introduction to the company plus tours of the soybean and corn facilities, and then the schedule turned into team-building exercises.

After that, I was split into interviews where the emphasis stayed on how I handled hypothetical situations and how my experience fit those scenarios. I didn’t get technical questions, and the whole thing felt laid back rather than like a technical assessment. I interviewed in the afternoon for about an hour, with a regional manager and an engineer.
