I went through a fairly multi-step loop that started with HR and then moved into several technical rounds, followed by additional discussions with a hiring manager in the US.

The early HR interaction is what most stuck with me, and it wasn’t positive—during that stage I felt talked down to and like basic process explanations weren’t actually being delivered in a helpful way.

After the recruiter conversation, I had technical interviews where the expectation was clearly on my ability to reason through real problems rather than just do superficial coding. Then I had rounds with the hiring manager, which felt more like a focused conversation about fit and how I’d approach work day to day.

I didn’t get an offer, and my overall impression was shaped by professionalism
