I heard about the position and went into the interview with some expectations based on what I’d already heard about their hiring patterns.

During the conversation, the questions stayed pretty basic, and there was time to review my projects.

The overall experience didn’t feel like a deep technical evaluation. It was more of a straightforward talk-through of fundamentals and what I’d done before.

I didn’t get an offer, and what lingered with me was the feeling that the decision may have been influenced by factors outside the interview content. Honestly, I came away without confidence that the process reflected ability in a consistent way.
