I had a telephone interview first, and then I was invited to an assessment day that was split into two parts.

I was told there would be a group activity followed by a one-to-one interview if I did well.

Before the group activity, we had to introduce ourselves—what degree we had and what our drivers were. Senior staff sat in the room but barely engaged, and the atmosphere felt uninterested. During the group activity, we were given a list of statements and questions to choose from to speak to a customer about protection packages. When it came time to relay our choices back, I could tell the senior managers weren’t on the same page—they looked disengaged, even using their phones.
