American Express Global Business Travel Product Analyst interview experience

The case study was the big anchor of the experience—it involved working with data and coming up with product-level recommendations, and the impression I got was that having solid Excel skills and being able to think from first principles mattered most.

The overall difficulty felt average to medium. I didn’t feel like the technical parts were designed to trick me; instead, it was more about being able to interpret data and clearly explain the reasoning behind the recommendation. By the time I reached the end, I’d gotten a good sense of what the role expected, but I didn’t receive an offer.
