My interview process ended up hinging on a single behavioral round.

I spent roughly forty minutes talking through about six questions, and it moved quickly—there wasn’t a lot of room for a slow recovery if something didn’t land.

By the end, it felt like I didn’t pass that behavioral section, and I received a rejection from HR. I still wasn’t fully sure what went wrong, because the conversation itself seemed productive while it was happening—it just didn’t translate into the result they wanted.
