I made it through multiple interview stages and was told I’d passed along in the process.

Then, just days before the next interview, I got a call saying they wouldn’t continue with my application due to changes in the business.

Not long after, I received a rejection email stating the role had been filled. The timing was what hurt most—up to that point, it felt like momentum was building, and then it abruptly stopped for operational reasons rather than performance. I was disappointed, because I’d invested the time and energy expecting the process to follow through.
