I experienced a multi-stage process that moved through BDR/SDR-style evaluations pretty quickly.

The flow started with a phone call, then there were multiple online rounds, and the final interview took place in person at the office.

What surprised me most was what happened at the end of the process. Even after going through many stages myself, they chose someone with only about a month of experience over a person with no experience. I understood that roles and timing matter, but it still made the whole process feel a bit unpredictable for someone putting in the time to get to the end.
