Warren, MIPosted May 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer position with a classic recruiter/manager/technical journey; overall it ranged from easy to average, and I expected a fairly organized timeline.

Recruiter / HR screen — I discussed my background, why I wanted the role, and how I could contribute; some versions included a structured resume review.
Technical interview (often with senior engineer/manager) — I answered role-focused questions and practical prompts tied to software experience.
Business Manager — I aligned on opportunities/projects and what was available based on my profile.
Live coding / deep technical — In one version, I did live coding including array-style questions plus a more advanced dynamic-programming problem, alongside technical deep dives
