In my process, I ended up facing system design questions focused on scalability under high load, along with some competitive-programming style problems.

The competitive programming portion was more about fundamentals—things like basic data structures and algorithms such as a binary tree, plus union-find and linked list style questions.

The mix made it feel broader than a pure coding interview. Even though I was able to cover multiple areas, the round demanded attention both to architectural thinking and to core algorithm execution.

I didn’t get an offer, and the hardest part to reconcile was that I had to be strong across very different modes of thinking within the same overall interview arc.
