Agoda Software Engineer interview experience

I managed to solve the first one, and then the recruiter changed the conditions and cross-questioned me based on my approach. The dynamic made the round feel less like a static “solve and stop” exercise and more like an interactive check on whether I could adapt when the requirements shifted.

I didn’t walk away feeling completely blindsided, but the changing constraints definitely made the timing and clarity of my reasoning matter more than usual. It was the kind of technical discussion where the second phase depends heavily on how well you can explain what you’re doing and why.
