Agoda Software Engineer interview experience

I spent around two hours working through the test, and the next day I got a reply that my profile didn’t match their requirements.

That timing threw me off, because I’d already completed the assessment. It felt like the filter that sent the link should have prevented me from doing the work in the first place, rather than asking me to try and then rejecting me immediately afterward.

I didn’t get an offer, and my main reflection was that the experience felt wasteful and inconsistent—like the assessment happened regardless of fit, and the decision came later without explanation.
