Agoda Software Engineer interview experience

I started with a coding round that centered on monotonic stacks, specifically a nearest-smaller-element style problem. In the same round, I also had to rank elements based on the given priorities array so that higher numbers got higher ranks.

After coding, I moved into a platform design round with the same monotonic-stack theme and the priorities ranking requirement, which helped keep the focus consistent across parts of the interview. The process ultimately led to an offer.

What I remember most is how aligned the tasks were—there wasn’t a random shift into something completely unrelated.
