My process started with something simple and fast—mostly Zoom-style conversations that leaned into explaining the benefits and what the work actually looked like.

I went over the idea that it was really a build-your-own client base sales role, even if the conversation framed it differently around claims. The meetings themselves were friendly and low-pressure, and a lot of what came up was general: keeping a conversation going, being comfortable on the phone, and talking through basic sales topics.

The structure was usually short and comfortable, sometimes framed like a virtual group session where everyone was welcoming and the tone was upbeat. At the same time, it wasn’t always as thorough as I expected, and the messaging could feel pretty persistent
