After a recruiter interaction, I ended up with a Zoom conversation with the regional manager.

He was easy to talk to and open about what the position would demand, and it didn’t feel hostile or overly formal.

The tone was more about getting to know me as a person before shifting into the role itself. I remember feeling comfortable because they asked a lot about my background and personality, then connected how that would relate to the work. I ended up receiving an offer, and the overall feel was that this was a friendly fit conversation more than an interrogation.
