Affirm Software Engineer interview experience

The final onsite consisted of two coding questions plus a hiring manager chat. I actually got rejected right at the phone coding challenge stage.

What was most frustrating was the interaction style during that onsite setup—they described the next steps after the recruiter screen, but the interviewer didn’t seem engaged in the way you’d expect. It felt like they were on the phone most of the time and I wasn’t really working collaboratively with them. The rejection itself came early, but the lack of engagement during that interaction made the whole experience feel less constructive.
