Affirm Software Engineer interview experience

Positive

New York, NYPosted Sep 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview experience felt great overall, but it was definitely difficult in the way you’d expect for a tech company.

What made it stand out for me was that the difficulty didn’t feel like trickery; it felt tied to real, practical skills.

The interviewers were great and the culture came through as a big positive—people were helpful and the environment felt supportive even when the questions got challenging. I ended up getting an offer, and looking back, the combination of hard technical coverage plus a genuinely good culture is what made the process memorable.
