London, EnglandPosted Apr 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

A recruiter reached out and got me started, and the interviews themselves felt easy-ish and fairly straightforward.

The practical coding component was something I felt was solid, but the interview ended up being in a different language than what I had confirmed with the recruiter. That mismatch alone made the process feel a little sloppy.

After a few rounds, the biggest issue became communication—or rather, the lack of it. I felt like they ghosted after the interviews: no feedback, no “unfortunately” email, nothing to close the loop. I even emailed directly to ask for an update, but I never got a response.

The process was frustrating and left me with a negative impression of the recruiter’s behavior.
