Affirm Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer seemed unhappy to be on the call, would cut me off, and gave a low estimate for my level. They also wouldn’t answer my questions about the positions until I passed the phone screen.

Then the call itself got messy—there were sound issues and they seemed to be giggling because of how my voice came through on their end. Even with that, they kept reminding me we were running late, even though it seemed like their setup was the problem. I finished the interview 15 minutes early, and I removed myself from consideration before hearing back about how I did on the phone screen.
