My first step was a recruiter call where we talked about the role and also questions about my experience.

After that, I had an hour coding challenge, and then a one-hour call with the hiring manager.

The later part was a longer stretch: there were four hours of interviews that covered LeetCode-style coding questions and system design. So even though the early stages were focused on coding practice, the final portion widened into more architectural thinking.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the overall feeling was that they evaluated me across both algorithmic problem solving and the way I reasoned about system design for longer sessions.
