Affirm Software Engineer interview experience

It started in July and only wrapped up in mid-October, and during that period I had to send multiple follow-ups just to get updates.

At one point, I was told I’d completed all interview rounds, and then unexpectedly I was asked to return for an additional one. That made it feel like I might have been kept as a backup while another candidate was prioritized.

I didn’t get an offer. What stuck with me most wasn’t just the rejection—it was the uncertainty and lack of decisiveness and transparency throughout the process, which made the whole thing discouraging.
