A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and encouraged me to apply, and my behavioral step got postponed by about two weeks.

Eventually I moved forward to the technical interview. Just two days before the technical interview, the behavioral recruiter told me only one spot was remaining and it was for a data infrastructure team, and asked if I wanted to back out.

I decided to continue, and my technical interview went well—I solved a LeetCode medium problem successfully. But the rejection feedback came from the behavioral side: they said I didn’t solve it quickly enough, even though I only had 30 minutes to complete it. That mismatch between how I experienced the solve and how it was judged stuck with me.
