My process hit a really unfair snag because the recruiting team didn’t respond in time.

My recruiter was on vacation for a week, which delayed my process before it even started. By the time I reached my last round, I had been selected to proceed, but another candidate ended up getting the offer, and I was forced to miss the opportunity even though I cleared the rounds I did.

I didn’t get an offer. The thing that stuck with me was how preventable it felt—once the timeline slipped, it impacted the final result in a way that didn’t reflect my performance.
