The OA came first, then I had a recruiter call, and after that a phone screen.

The OA itself had two easy-level questions, and the recruiter conversation was pretty generic.

The phone screen was where it tightened up. It pushed for an optimized solution, and compared to the OA it felt much more demanding in how the approach needed to be designed. I didn’t end up with an offer, but the experience did clearly test whether I could move from basic problems into more performance-aware thinking.
