Affirm Software Engineer interview experience

The recruiter framed it as an important role, but it still translated into a “hell of stages” experience, including a couple of two-hour meetings with many people.

I ended up on a call with the hiring manager, but I didn’t find it that meaningful. The questions were fairly generic and only lightly tied to my experience.

Even though I understood the role mattered, the length and number of steps felt excessive, and that dragged down the overall experience for me.
